  • Blog Carnivals

Dear Blog Carnival Submitters and Hosts,

Do you want to drive more traffic to your blog? Well, I have a really.. REALLY easy way. And no, this is not a gimmick.

I noticed that most bloggers, myself included, submit our best articles to social bookmarking networks, such as Digg, Netscape, Reddit, and StumbleUpon. And we also submit our articles to blog carnivals.

Yet, I’ve noticed that many of us do not vote up or "digg" the blog carnivals that host links to our blogs. For example, this week one of my articles is on a blog carnival. This carnival has links to about twenty to thirty different blogs, yet it was submitted to only one site (Digg) and only has two votes (one of them my own) after four days.

If everyone who has an article linked on a blog carnival also submits and votes for the carnival on social booking networks, than I am sure that the blog carnival would most likely reach the front page of most social websites. Even if it does not, it will certainly get a lot of quality traffic to our sites that we would not normal have.

And to our generous blog carnival hosts, can you please add social bookmarking links to your carnivals to make it easier for us, we the lazy bloggers, to better promote the carnivals?

This is a win/win for both the blog carnival hosts and submitting bloggers. So, please vote now and often.

    Thank you,

    Phil B.
