  • ClearCase Support: Recursively Adding to Source Control


    This is the new ClearCase command for installing a large number of UNIX files and directories into the VOBs.

    $ clearfsimport -nsetevent [-rmname] -recurse [-mklabel LABEL_NAME] SOURCE_DATA DESTINATION_DIRECTORY

    You can even use this command to re-install a newer set of files to the same location in ClearCase.

    Also, don't forget to change the permissions of the new elements that were installed, if necessary.
