Teflon Cars

Have you ever consider coating the surface of cars with a non-stick material, such as Teflon?

Well, I have. I just came up with this idea because I just washed and waxed my car yesterday, and it rain today. And it will probably rain again tomorrow. In the future, I guess I should looked at the weather forecast before deciding to wash my car.

However, I would not have to wash and wax my car ever again, if my car was coated with a non-stick surface. I could easily just rinse away any dirt and dust. I wouldn't have to buy or use soap and wax, and it would save a lot of time when cleaning my car. Additionally, this means cars would not have a glossy painted surface either. So, I am not sure how popular non-stick surfaces would be on cars. Maybe only practical people would purchase them. And the cost of cars would probably be higher too.

It is just a thought.
