Cheaper Printer Ink

If you own a computer printer, then you know printer ink can be very expensive. In fact, most printer manufacturers sell their printers for a loss, knowing that they will ultimately make a large profit from selling their ink during the long term.

It is commonly known that ink cartridges for inkjet printers are much more expensive than ink toner for laser printers. Yet, ink toner can be expensive too.

However, I think Iíve figured out how to get even cheaper printer ink. On Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving), printers are extremely discounted; so every year, I typically buy one or two printers on Black Friday instead of buying ink. I have to estimate how much ink I used during the previous year, to ensure that I purchase enough printers and ink for the following year. I also have to be careful to only buy printers that come with full ink toners and ink cartridges, since some printer manufacturers sell printers with ink cartridges and ink toners that are NOT full.

For example, this year on Black Friday, I purchased two identical printers at $50 each that sell normally for $120 each. These printers both come will full ink toners that typically sell for about $60 each. Thatís right, buying the printer and ink is cheaper than just buying the ink. These printers are the identical model to a printer that I already had, so I know they are good quality and I will be happy with two more of them. The only negative issue with this situation is that I now have to store two extra printers until I need either ink or a new printer.
