Continuous Improvement

There is a famous quote that bluntly states “Evolve or Die”. While this is probably true for an entire species and on the macro scale for all life, I think this saying can also be applied to each person for individual use.

I have a personal philosophy that I like to call "Continuous Improvement". This simply means that everyone must constantly improve or try to improve themselves and everything and everyone in their lives; otherwise, they become too comfortable with themselves and their lives and thus they become stagnant. That means there is no more intentional personal development in their lives.

In my opinion, only the attempt of bettering ourselves and the world around us does true satisfaction exists. Therefore, in my opinion, stagnation is a form of slow death from psychological depression and without meaning in life.
