Everyone has a Boss

If you have a job, then you have a boss. If you are a child, then your parents are your boss. If you are a student, then your teachers are your boss. If you are married, then your spouse is your boss. If you are religious, then you certainly are under a higher power. If you are citizen of any country, then someone makes decisions for and about you. Everyone has a boss.

Even if you are the owner of a company, you have a boss. Just because you donít have a manager, supervisor, or owner telling you want to do and making sure that you are working, that does not mean there is not someone who gives you work to do. The customers are the people who pay you, therefore the customers get to tell you want to do and keep an eye on your work. If you do not the work that the customers ask, then you do not get paid. As a result, the customers are the boss even when you own your own business.

Therefore, everyone has a boss. Most of us even have more than a single boss. This is a fact of life that no one can escape.
