Turn a Dream into a Goal

There is a famous saying that goes something like this:

The difference between a dream and a goal is that a goal has a plan.

I can not stress enough the importance of having a plan and trying to execute a plan.

I find the most difficult task most of the time is more deciding on a plan than actually executing any step of the plan once it is defined. I think it is because a plan helps visualize each step to reach a goal, and that makes it much easier to accomplish each step. Thus, the final goal is easier to reach too.

The next most difficult part after having a plan is over coming procrastination and forcing myself to take action on the plan. Typically, the first step is the hardest to start. After that, it always appears easier than the previous time.

So stop just having dreams, and turn those dreams into goals by defining a plan of action.
